Hi,
I am not sure how my browser is set up, but everytime I want to see the source of a web page, windows notepad popsup with the source of the page, but the problem is the text has strike through lines on it. It is like strikethrough style text we get in micrisoft word. This is making it hard to read the content. I tried upgrading my Internet Explorer to 6.0 but still getting the same problem. I did post this here once. One gentle man asked me to change the Default HTML Editor in the properties. But unfortunately it didn't help. Any help in this regard will be greatly appreciated

Thanks

Welcome to the forums. Sure sounds like a font problem and not anything to do with IE. Once IE passes the file address of the source code to Notepad, it is up to notepad to display it properly. If it isn't, then I'd look at the fonts for a cause. Does it do this in all Notepad files?

Thanks for the reply. It does not happen for the regular files if I open them in Notepad. Any help in this regard will be appreciated

jwilliams,

I just checked my browser settings, and the only program listed for html editor is IE, yet when I view source I get it in notepad.

Why don't you try changing that?

also, try

view-source:http://www.the.source.you.want.to.see.com

and see how that displays
