Basic question about using search boxes

Hi,

We have a client that has four main areas of business, all housed under one website. The user may get to each of the four sections by the homepage 'portal', and also by using a drop down nav within each section. That's all fine.

We wish to have search boxes on all four of the sectors, so the results are relevant; eg 'widgets' search results only display in the 'widgets' section.

Any ideas as to how to do this? It needs to integrate seamlessly into the design of the site, so no ugly google boxes!

Thanks for any help.

Andy

Hello, Andarts, and by the way, Welcome to WebmasterWorld [webmasterworld.com].

You might want to check out FDSE (search for it). They offer the concept of multiple realms, each of which could be a section of your site. You can specify the realm you want to search in your search parameters. It sounds like it might do the trick for you.
