KDE Project's Konqueror browser passes the Acid2 test

I always really liked the KDE desktop environment and I'm glad to see that they've been doing lots of work on Konqueror.

I use KDE as my primary desktop, and although I use Konqueror as a file manager I still use Firefox instead for web browsing. However there has been a great deal of development recently, and this news shows how far the Konqueror team have gone to making their browser a serious competitor to Firefox on *nix platforms - not just with CSS compliance but also the extra features such as ad-blocking and other ideas taken from Firefox.

Konqueror have actually beaten Opera with this release, as the only versions of Opera which pass the Acid2 tests are "Technology Preview" versions, whereas KDE/Konqueror 3.5.2 is a released product.
