When I try and open my localhost in the address bar in FF 1.5, the page doesn't load. There is not error displayed, just the page I was on before. When I type [localhost...] this doesn't load, however both [127.0.0.1...] and [192.168.8.1...] work!?
Anyone else experiencing this, and/or got a solution?
Help would be greatly appreciated Chris

Is localhost defined in your hosts file? It may be missing or altered, which would mean that the name would not resolve.

Well localhost resolves in IE so it must be in the hosts file. Its just in firefox.

Don't depend on that as proof. Check the hosts file directly. IE could be resolving localhost as 127.0.0.1 internally without referencing the hosts file.

It always worked for me until I installed 1.5. Maybe I should try to rollback to 1.0.7.

Did you uninstall 1.0.7 before you upgraded to 1.5?

NO! Is there anyway I can recover from that? I have tried a complete uninstall, deleting all of the application data as well completely uninstalling the program, but it disn't help.
