Where does the "" come from?

Hi Guys!

I have some strange thing on a website i am currently working on - i have yahoo feeds on it and there is some strange  that comes up on top of the site. It does now appears in the HTML source code anywhere and all else looks good but it's just there. This drives me crazy :) Have anyone seen something like that before? Any tips? Please PM me if you want to take a look at it live :)

It's a byte-order mark, used by some programs to identify the character encoding UTF-8. One culprit can be Notepad which adds a BOM when saving as Unicode.

What character encoding are you using for your site, and what is being used by the feed? Is it the feed that has the BOM or your own page?
