Having a blog on my site?

Ok, what im looking for is how you put a blog up on a site.

say i have mysite.com i want my blog to be mysite.com/blog

Would i use, say, some blog site, and take the HTML and put it on my site? Is there a way i can customize it so that it matches my site.

I want it so i can quickly update the site, so that i dont have to re-host the site everytime, to put new info up.

you can use blogger to:
- press a button and automatically ftp your updates to the directory of your chosing on your site
- modify the template of the display, including css to customize it however you'd like
