Hey I'm redoing a website for my boss and I want to quickly show him on several webpages how the new design is smaller than the old design (but much better) and thus will load faster. Is there a browser option or some type of program that can tell me the size of all the images, css, page source, and javascript files combined on the page so I can quickly compare and contrast. Or is there any program out that would tell me how long a page would take to load with a 56k modem.

Website Optimization site has some online tools, if that helps.

I use the Page Size Bookmarklet you can get from [q42.nl...] . The advantage is that you can use it on local/intranet/firewalled pages that websiteoptimization.com and its clones can't reach.

thanks the web optimization site was neat and let you type in a URL and had all sorts of info that I didn't even know before.
