Nope.

But it depends on what FP features you use. It's possible to use the WYSIWYG features of FP without substitutes etc. But FP still throws in funny code. It'll do strange things to your tags, forget to close some, use other gimmicks that work only in IE etc. For crying out loud I only recently discovered that while everybody else was using "ISO-8859-1" for "content type" my FP pages had "Windows 1252" i.e. if the visitor is not using Windows he should really "upgrade" to a Windows OS ;)

If you're using FP check and double check your pages in a variety of browsers and on different platforms.

Are you refering to when Frontpage uploads a website to a server? If so, then the more recent versions of FrontPage will not change the contents of the files. Pre-2000 versions, on the other hand, had a reputation for altering files when uploading them to a server to conform to Microsoft's way of writing HTML even though the page was never created or otherwise touched by FP.

I've made several XHTML Strict sites in FP recently...they all validate...and not a single character was changed by FP. If you take a little time to learn the software it can be a great tool. Modern versions of FP are much more respectful of your code.
