css printed tables

printed tables like on screen version

hi all

I just wondered if it is possible to have coloured background tables in a the print format.

In css I can style my tables with what ever colour i choose using a style sheet.

But when I created a similar print style sheet the printed version displayed the table cells without the background cell styling properties which I attributed to them in CSS.

I am begging to think that it is not possible to add colour background elements in css to tables for print. IS THIS TRUE?

Internet Explorer does not print backgrounds by default. Yo need to go into Options and enable "Print background colors and Images".
