Greetings,
My Opera and Mozilla browsers are working fine, but as soon as I open Internet Explorer, the program shuts down within 15 seconds. Has anyone else see this before? What should I do? Thanks!

Bizarre.... Is your internet connection being shut down or just IE?

It seems that just IE has the problem. All my other browsers work fine at the same time. I just scanned my computer with Adaware, so there is not adware that is doing this. I think I'll use spybot to see if anything is wrong now....

Try installing IE based browsers (such as crazy browser). This way you can tell if it's the IE engine or specifically the IE exacutable perhaps.

I'd also suggest using an online anti-virus to scan for viruses but they only support IE right now :-\

Ah the blessed/cursed active-Xs... Why can't anyone make an anti-virus in Java?... Back to the point...

The problem might be also hardware-based. Especially when Your CPU is overclocked. Also You didn't specify what kind of shutdown is IE suffering. Is it the "this program wanted to do something BillG. doesn't like" or the "something got screwed - would You like to become a statistic number in Microsoft and send them the memory dump" shutdown? Or maybe just the normal one?

I usually get the "BillG. doesn't like it" error due to errors in swapfiles (lack of RAM). But the "make me a statistic number" happened to me usually due to hardware errors (+80% overclocked P90 with broken fan).
