Changing Image after visited

Hi,

I have one clarification, the thing is I want to Change the image in a Link after it visited. for example take any one inbox folder in your mail box. If a new message has come means the icon of that will be closed cover. after visited the message the icon will automatically change into open cover. I need the same thing, pls help me to do it.

You could use CSS and a background image. The visit link state gets a different background image...
