CSS support with I.E.

It is to my experience and understanding that I.E. does interpret CSS in proper ways? Is the this true for font alignment and float? I have tried to align text to the left and it seems I need to align in the design mode with Dreamweaver. Only because I.E. (not Fire Fox) will not interpret the command in CSS. Any thoughts or help?

Thanks.

IE is pretty buggy when it comes to CSS - depending on what you are trying to do, that is. The scenario you described is not all that uncommon, especially with floated elements. text-align rules may also misfire in a complex situation.

Our CSS Forum [webmasterworld.com] is full of hacks and workarounds for CSS in Internet Explorer.

Tedster;

As always, thanks for your help! For some reason, I knew you'd be the one to answer this question.

Since I have been a member (not long), I have learned an adundence of information.

Thanks.
