Dont know what happened.
I dint update it or anything.
It just completely disappeared from search results and PR bar became grey (used to be PR6)

What could be the problem?

it looks like you site droped out of the index, but you got a PR so it does sound a little wierd.

One think is foe sure, Google is realy messed up these days, thats also why I dont do anything on my site even if I have lost 80% of my visits, Im gonna wait this out till about dec.10 then I will see whats up.

Zeus and others

There is no longer a set monthly indexing to google.

Google has moved to what could be described as continual indexing.

As proof if you search google for diamond brokers and look at positon # 5 and #15 you will see "Press Release" Clicking that link takes you to a press release I released two weeks ago Wednesday.

As you can see it has been indexed and placed on Googles front page in less than 14 days.

Google will index your site depending on how often you update your site. Once a month updates = once a month googlebot visit to your site.

In closing

Don't wait for Google,,,because Google is waiting for you!

seo1, I know its not every month a update is going on like before, but there are some larger changes every month, often with new backlinks update and I want to give them a month to handle all new sites, so its that simple.

Hi Zeus

What I was trying to say is that waiting serves no purpose other than to tell Googlebot you do not update your site that often.

Your competition is most likely not waiting ...

Like Spine, my main site lost 90% of its traffic on Sept. 23. All pages are still indexed, and the site retains good PR. I've never recruited links of which there are now over 2,000. So its all natural linking.

My rankings still remain dismal.

To me, what occurred on Sept. 23 remains a mystery. I know it wasn't just my site, because others have mentioned the same event on Sept. 23. If anyone has any insight, please share it.

Hallo!

Zeus:
Hmm Im not sure if I should be worried now, I do have lost 80% of traffic, but Im waiting that one out, because of the messed up Google, but the last days my site count has gone from 2500 - 2000 - 1500.....

I am operating an e-commerce site in europe. I have lost 80% of the traffic at Sept. 23. and my listings in G were gone from 24.000 to 4.000.

After the massive crowl in the beginning of november I got back 50% of the Traffic and my listings gone from 6.000 to 20.600.

Two days ago I placed new OBL in a certain sector of my site. Today my listings are gone from 20.600 to 17.900 (could be the amount of suplemental sites concerned by the new OBL) but parhaps the number decrease more and more.

Before September I have got alot of new IBLs for my Site.

I belive today, the problems are both OBLs and IBLs when the are new.

Sorry for my english, I hope I could give an input.

OBLs and IBLs what is that
and you have a interesting story, because I do think that the webmaster who have lost ground in the search engines, is a combination of bad spidering and new sites added lately.

inbound and outbound links (OBLs and IBLs).

In November I added several new sites (4-5.000) all were indexed and showed description and title.

I have changed nothing else, except adding new outbound links two days ago.

Hi there

I cannot readily prove this but I remembering seeing somewhere that Google instills a penalty or delay when adding over a certain amount of links in a day.

Can anyone else confirm or rebut?
