PPC links never add to your PR. Your incoming links, which is the basis of your PR, is calculated solely on plain html links on either image or text. All of the PPCs I know use tracking devises on their links, so that google will not count those links as part of your PR.

goclick is a cheap way to get some listings.. i wouldn't hedge sales on it, but it will bring visitors and cheaply. Plus it helps in ranking because alot of goclick sites are directories and links so as googlebot finds them it shows up.(same with any ad for that matter.. i must have 20k links to one of my sites from overture, kanoodle, brainfox, google, goclick and other ppc links)
Who's correct?
Are you referring to Adams_C's posts? if so, his first post was a perfectly clear explanation and a definitive answer to your question. If you don't understand what he's saying, ask for more clarification.
Calling a fellow member's posts pathetic when he's trying to help you out is not the way to get the most out of this forum.
My first try (at rytis) to ask for some writing which actually has anything in it, was more polite and fortunately got a polite reply, plus got him to write a relevant re-post as a correction. That's a lesson in politesse I need to remember. Human, all too human...
That said, I do wish my very scarce time would not have to be spent reading posts whose main extractable content seems to be
LOL
and

...and which forces me to scroll back 2 or 3 pages to try and figure out what reference he makes or doesn't make, to which specific part(s) of some unknown previous post(s), located somehwere within what is already a 4-page thread and growing.
...if we're talking about being inconsiderate, that is
