mediabot and googlebot

are they becoming the same thing?

I have been noticing some strange things with my Adsense-enabled web pages and the logs. It seems adsense pages attracts Googlebot instead of (addition to?) Mediabot. Anybody else notice anything interesting recently?

We get hits from Mediabot although we dont use adsense.
I heard it has to do with Opera users.
