8 days ago, I added some new text to my homepage, and the next day it dropped from # 2 to # 30 for my biggest keyword. It has stayed at that rank for 8 days even though I quickly put the page back to normal once I saw the slip in ranking. However, the Google cached page is still a copy of when I hadn't yet added the new text.

Does this make sense?

Google does the deepcrawl daily now.

The drop in the serp may not be related to the newly added text.

10 days have passed now, and still an old cache of my PR7 homepage. Yet, several other sites on the same search result page show a date of 9/17. Mine shows no date, but I know I changed it 10 days ago.

Can someone tell me what the IP of DeepFreshBot is again, so I can check our log files?

As far as I know, there is no set IP number for Deepcrawls anymore since all the bots now act as deep crawlers.

There has been another shuffle in the serps this morning. Seeing small changes for many of our terms after more than a week of stability.
