any difference in serp for domain extensions

.com, .net or .org extensions treated any different

I have found that I can obtain some very good domain names for an important keyword for my business with a .org extension, does google weigh this at all when adding to the index?
sorry if this has been asked and answered before I couldn't find referrence anywhere.

I don't expect you should see any difference. Since anyone can register a .org

I have noticed other TLD's ranking over the past year, .ws and .tv etc > and there are often .org domains in competitive serps.

I came across a network of .md domains that have huge pagerank.. but haven't figured out that mystery yet...
