When I type in info:www.widgets.com it does not show information about my site. Even though my site is in SERPS and not that deep.
Why could that be?

I think this can happen sometimes for new listings. As you're in the SERPs, I expect that the info: tool will work after a while (assuming that you're using exactly the same URL).

I had never heard of this search before. What's the difference between that and just typing in the url? When I don't include 'info:' I do get the link to Google Answers in addition to all the info.

Even if I just type in widgets.com and www.widgets.com my site does not show up. But shows up for keywords and I am getting visitors from SERPs.
