When is it okay to use the Google Logo?

I have seen numerous SEO company websites which use the Google logo to illustrate which search engines they target...

Are there any restrictions on the use of the Google logo? Is it safe to go ahead and use it on my business card?

There are always copyright issues for any created works, as well as trademark issues. Copyright belongs to the creator and it takes written permission to be able to use.

Ask them first - they'll say no, but it is peanuts compared to what they'll do if someone mails them one of your cards with their logo on it.

I would say a business card is a bit different from on a site. Ask them, they will not be happy if you don't.

This gives you the information you need regarding logo use, and how to get permission to use it. It states it takes 10 days for a response regarding whether or not permission has been granted.
