Google updated every Sun evening/Mon morning?

I seem to be noticing a trend

Hi
I noticed a couple of weeks ago a dramatic change in my rankings on Monday morning (possibly the only positive thing about it). Making a mental note of this I checked today and bingo! same again. Have I discovered a phonomena or is this documented?

Here, in India also, we find googlebot visits and updates more often on Sunday nights. I have been experiencing the same for more than a year now.

I will confirm that exactly with my sites. I have made specific and deliberate changes over the last 2-3 weeks and have noticed that the changes I have made show up in the SERPS on Monday. This has been the pattern for me for the last 3 weeks.

Over the last month or so, I've been seeing better results for my site from one data center initially, and eventually up to four data centers (cw,fi,in,gv). I'm now seeing the same (better) results from all data centers.

I had my doubts before but I'm inclined to believe the rolling update theory now.

Same thing here, many more sites of mine are now showing in the index as of this morning. It's nice to be able to give my boss good news on monday and then cruise on that news all week... whew, google better do some dancing soon!

I've been checking google for some new pages that I added around the middle of June. They showed up in the serps for the first time today. (And I did happen to check this past Saturday.) Good news.

After taking a complete break on Sunday, Googlebot is attacking my site with full force. (All pages got updated too.)

Maybe it is covered under union contract or
maybe it is just like other office workers who like to surf the internet during working hours. ;)

Hi... thought I'd chime in... I've been studying this closely for the past 3 weeks, and what you are saying is happening for us... and with a LOT of sites to include in the analysis...

The remaining question I have unanswered is the following:

If a site is picked up and spidered -- but not fully -- on a Saturday, it is often in the SERPS the following Monday. I have been seeing MORE spidering (and a lot of it) on that very Monday as well, so I'm wondering (and I'll know for sure this week)... if those will be reflected in the SERPS around Wednesday (48 hours), the following Saturday (since there's a lot of activitiy on Satuday), or -- and this is my guess -- the next Monday, because a lot is showing up on Monday.

Any thoughts?

Hmmm... Killroy, that's a little odd and throws me for a spin... I would have thought that if all the pages crawled through this past Saturday (8/2) -- say LATE FRIDAY to be safe, would be in the SERPS now...

At any rate, if you have anything in... and you've seen it crawled... you're golden... they'll be showing up...

Well, checked this morning, no new pages on :(((

BUT, I'm trying to recall, and as I moved teh pages twice before reaching their final domain, I got a bit of timing data. And I think the first domain, brought in two pages last sunday, then one more this one, When the first two pages of the final domain came up.

It just seems like I#ll have to wait a whole week to get the pages in.

But why does it spider them EVER morning promptly? It only seems t oadd new pages on sundays... :(

Does the site simply not have enough PR to qualify for everflux yet?

Interesting, what's the sense behind spidering every day when it only updates once a week?
