Hello,
I would like to know if anyone can give ideas on how long a page on a site is likely to be indexed after a visit by Googlebot?, Are we talking instantly, hours, days, weeks?
Many thanks

If it's the freshbot it could be with in a few days, then you get dumped. If it's the deepcrawl, it could be a month, or maybe a few weeks if they really are deepcrawl updating listings every week or two.

My stats says the visit is from Googlebot. Does this mean it is the deepcrawler rather than freshbot? How would I know? My site has been indexed by Google before it is not a new site. I have simply added some new pages and want to know when they will be indexed.
Please explain what you mean by being "dumped".
Thanks in advance

By not dumped I just meant that even though the results may have once had a fresh tag (a date next to the URL), they are now still in the index even without the fresh tag. I never saw it myself, but apparently pages picked up by the fresh bot would be dropped from the index after a couple of days, and you'd have to wait for a deep crawl and dance before the pages were constantly in. I don't think that's happening anymore.

Hi I have two sites in google, but not all the pages are included. In addition i have now created two new sites and submitted to google and linked from the other site which is already in google but i have still not been visited by the bots. Its been few weeks now, any suggestion to get it listed quickly...
Thanks David

Getting new sites into the index is happening a lot quicker than it did a few months go. Once in, they are mostly sticking, rather than dropping out like the old fresh listings used to do.

I'm wondering too. I created a new site, on a temporary domain and linked to it from another site. Same day it got listed, and 3 days later it was in the index. 2 days later I reorganized it into a different domain, which was spidered within hours (same backlinks) but is still not indexed (about 6days later). 2 days later I moved it to the final domain, again same backlinks, spidered within the hour, but not listed either (3 days later). How long till google lists it? (all old domains are 301ing to the final permanent domain.
