Unusual additions to URL in SERPs

Just noticed on one search on www (will try to determine the datacenter it is pointing to) where there looks to be additional info added at the end of the link to the url. It only appears on one search phrase (pretty competitive but three words) and looks like this on mousing over the SERP URL:
(This is the result for the #2 site in the SERPs but is attached to all URLS in the results)
This is searching from the standard Google home page, not the toolbar.
[google.com...]
The start= changes bases on the rank in the SERPs

The address bar shows:
[google.com...]

A different phrase search where the same sites show up in the SERPs shows the standard results URLs

While finding the datacenter I was seeing in the previous results I found an even more interesting URL on www-cw, while all of the other datacenters were showing that first result I posted.

[www-cw.google.com...]

[google.com...]

This is what I got on a standard view of the SERP pages...tried the same in compact mode on a dance tool and the standard URLs show vice these results

I also see it right now on www (only .com)- for at least two different queries.

Post #1 seems to be a basic redirect script allowing G to measure which results are clicked. I have no clue about the "e" the "mr" or the "sa". My "e" is a different number from yours however, and the "e" does not change as you change query terms.

It is just Google testing the quality of the SERPs. Usually the number after the '&e=' is 747, but the 1102 as you mentioned is not so special. The '&start=' is the number of a page in the SERP, and the '&sa=U' could be some attribute to the 'start' parameter. Takagi mine is neither 747 nor 1102, it's a third number (<snip> ). Thanks for the link though :)

thanks for the info on the URLs..I knew I had read it somewhere here, but couldnt find the thread...
Still working on those 2nd URLs...seem to have a little more in them than the click tracking
