I have a couple of urls that point to my main domain. What will Google do in regards to having information on (2) differnt urls but both are the using the same IP address. I am trying to get my main domain in the SERPS. Then slowly get rid of pointer domains. Below you will see some of my log files where Googlebot will hit both my pointer domains and my main domain. Here are some of my log files:

The above logs show where Googlebot will hit the pointer domain (www.def.com) and then hit my main domain(www.abc.com). I would like for my main domain to show up in the SERPS not my pointer

Use a 301 redirect to point your secondary domain name to the primary. Do a site search on 301 redirects. There are a number of threads that cover this topic.

My hosting company has a Coldfusion server. They do not offer a 301 Redirect.

This is typically done through .htaccess, and you should be able to add an .htaccess file to your site.

Here's a thread that has more information:

That is for an Apache server. My hosting company is running a Coldfusion server. What can I do with a Coldfusion server?

The wrong domain is in the serps; because, it was submitted by backlink or through Google. You can try to get rid of the backlinks or you can ask google to de-list the domains.

Is the unwanted domain pointed at the same directory as the one you want in the serps? If it is, I would suggest pointing the domain to another directory and using a "no-robots text"

If your site does not require CF support, I would consider moving to a web host that provides 301 support and multiple I.P's.

I hope I'm on Target!

Thanks for the reply. But unforunately my site does require cf support. Yes the domain in the serps is pointed to the same directory as the one I want in the serps. But if I point the one that is indexed away from the directory I think I will loose alot of traffic. I am trying to find away to slowly move it over to only my primary domain. Then delete out all pointer domains.

Suggestion: you could move your pointer domain to another host and make it a pure redirect.
