3. www-va.google.com
4. www-ab.google.com
5. www-ex.google.com
6. www-cw.google.com
7. www-in.google.com

Just ping them to see their IP's.

At the DOS prompt:

> ping www.google.com

Tells you the IP address of the server responding.

Or look for software like pingplotter for Windows.

You could also use "nslookup www.google.com" from the Windows/DOS command line to get the IP address of that datacentre: it'll use slightly less bandwidth than pinging (as you'll just be querying a nameserver instead of querying a nameserver and then sending out pings and waiting for the pongs to come back)

Hello. You're new here aren't you? ;) Basically, if you look at the past posts on this forum, you'll find out that by checking other datacentres you can *sometimes* get an idea of what a forthcoming data rollout is going to look like: and with the IP address you can also work a bit of magic with the Windows hosts file (in /windows/system32/drivers/etc/ ) to get the Toolbar to query other datacentres of PR values etc etc.
