i'm trying to track down how my email address has been harvested... does anyone know if there is a google search for any email address at a particular domain? so for example i can see any place on the web where i might have used my address that could have been harvested...?

thanks

Email adresses will always be found, there is no way to stop it.

If you want to see if your email adress appears in google just type in "your@domain.com" and replace that with your actual email.

hi,

I use a javascript tool which I downloaded to encrypt all of my email addresses. There is no difference to the user, but the email address can't be harvested. This has made a major difference to me. Sticky me if you want the tool.

That will only find the text if it appears on the page; like:

Why not write to: someone@somewhere.com with your comments

What you also need to find is this bit too:

<a href="mailto:someone@somewhere.com">Send Email</a>

I'm not sure if the inurl: command on Google will do that or not.
