I just read something about robots.txt, and used the webmaster world robots.txt validator...

...omg this is bad...

We're sorry, this robots.txt does NOT validate.
Warnings Detected: 207
Errors Detected: 498

- er Ack!

Does this mean that my PR is affected by this and is google frowning upon my site as not valid? My PR dropped last update.

Arg I'm panicking about it now. Anyone know?

I'v fixed my robots.txt file now...

But the question still stands - does it affect PR? I won't know for sure now until next index

if you are still in google's cache - it didn't matter.

robots.txt will prevent google from crawling you, but they don't penalize you for it. You either are crawled or not.

As Chris_R says either your in or out.

PageRank is not about on the page factors etc, it has nothing to do with errors on your page, it's all about links.
(If you wish to read more about PageRank there is some awesome discussions and papers in the SEM Research forum)
