Google Weekly update?

I just wanted to share an obervation I have on my 260+ city websites. Since the last update I am seeing an 20% or more increase every Sunday! Yes once a week for 4 weeks now. This 20% carries through the week and come Sunday I get an additional 20% more traffic. I am adding a lot more content and things, but I would only expect an increase once a month or periodically.

note: Because the way my sites are setup and my stats program, I cannot isolated the source of the increase i.e. google. But it is spread across most of my 260 sites

I get an increase of pages hit, but no update. Meaning, pages that were in the index since Esmeralda actually being found by users for the first time.

My analysis was that some kind of deep indexing is still going on? Just an idea.

There certainly was no update of my low pagerank sites.
