Hey everyone! What a great resource this site is.

Have a question, obviously. Last time my site was deep crawled was back in March. And freshbot has not visited my site since June 18 on which it looked for robots.txt file and my default.asp page.

Then it left....

I added a robots.txt file today after reading some posts. And yesterday I made added some simple ASP code to change my date on my page and it also does a count on the number of listing (property website) I have and changes those as my listings increase/decrease. So, that should make my main page a little dynamic. But, nothing else major is on the main page. But freshbot just went there and left.

Any suggestions? I understand that since I do not have my site listed with many other sites I may not be visited very often, but for almost 3 weeks? I've looked in my log files too and do not see that other bots have been there, but I am not too familiar with what to look for (besides what I've read)

Any help is much appreciated.

Get more inbound links (specifically, Yahoo & DMOZ) and Google will then both spider more often & deeper on your site. ;)

The Google webmasters section on Google.com mentions those two as places to get links if you would like to be crawled & indexed by Google, so I've taken that to mean "they are important to Google".

However, I could be wrong...
