I have several dot coms that look very different and cover different subjects but all have the same company name. The subjects are related to one field we just have different approaches to marketing each one. I am thinking about putting them all in the main domain. I still want their individual domains to work but just have them 301 redirect to the new subsite.domain.com or domain.com/subject. I am not sure what is better. What I want to know is what will google do? Will they just gray bar the other domains and put all the PR in on the main site? Will the backlinks all transfer to this one site? I still want the old domains to work for traditional advertising reasons.
