Anyone else having trouble connecting to google?

Hi,

For the past week I have noticed that sometimes when I try to connect to either the google homepage, or sometime in the middle of a search, the site spins and spins and then doesn't load. It often only begins working again after anywhere from 30 seconds to a minute. No other websites seem to be affected like this at the same time, so I think it is a Google thing. Anyone else experiencing this?

Thanks,

Cliff

I had difficulty connecting several times yesterday. It ranged from being very slow, to several 404's.

I hate to say it, but:

Me too post. :)

I had a terrible time yesterday. Sometimes it was slow (40 secs), sometimes connections were broken in the middle of results, and sometimes I received 404s.

Yes, I found it often very slow yesterday using google.com. I assumed it was my dial-up having problems.

Kept getting 502 server errors yesterday. Thought it was down to my ISP.

I've had problems for the last week not only with Google & Adwords but also acessing our e-mail servers from Outlook Express and other sites. Keep getting 404's. After a short time they come back however it's been really strange. Even suspected it might be some kind of virus however my costantly updated Norton hasn't found anything. Using IE6.0 and XP Pro.

Must be our dial-up ISP or the Internet has been finally spammed to death. (that's another issue).

Yeah, it's my fault. I have been running the WPG rank checker for 2 Million keywords every day all week.
Sorry....

I've had problems also but they were usually quick to resolve.

Last night, however, around 11 PM CDT I couldn't get anywhere. I reset the cisco box to see if ADSL was broken and could then get google and my email for a few minutes. Then no access and 404's again. Reset the cisco once more but to no avail this time.

Fnally tried my phone to see if there was a problem. but it was working. Don't know what caused me to try, but when I dialed my 888 number and it said it was no longer in service! Aaarrrgghh. A few minutes later the 888 number worked fine but I still couldn't get to Google or anywhere else.

I gave up and went to bed. This morning all appears to be fine. Very strange!

Same problem here yesterday. I tried posting if anybody have a problem connecting to Google but it seems my post disappeared too, so I presume that I'm the only one having a hard time and just maybe Google have banned my IP ;)

Anyway, the problem seems to be like 30 mins increment, did a trace route and www seems to either time out or takes forever to access.

Tried the different data centers no problem there, I guess they are having problem with their load balancing equipment.

Thanks for the feedback. I was beginning to wonder if it was google, or our equipment. It is beginning to look like it is google, probably something to do with this new index and algo.
