For the past week I have noticed that sometimes when I try to connect to either the google homepage, or sometime in the middle of a search, the site spins and spins and then doesn't load. It often only begins working again after anywhere from 30 seconds to a minute. No other websites seem to be affected like this at the same time, so I think it is a Google thing. Anyone else experiencing this?
Thanks,
Cliff
Must be our dial-up ISP or the Internet has been finally spammed to death. (that's another issue).
Last night, however, around 11 PM CDT I couldn't get anywhere. I reset the cisco box to see if ADSL was broken and could then get google and my email for a few minutes. Then no access and 404's again. Reset the cisco once more but to no avail this time.
Fnally tried my phone to see if there was a problem. but it was working. Don't know what caused me to try, but when I dialed my 888 number and it said it was no longer in service! Aaarrrgghh. A few minutes later the 888 number worked fine but I still couldn't get to Google or anywhere else.
I gave up and went to bed. This morning all appears to be fine. Very strange!
Anyway, the problem seems to be like 30 mins increment, did a trace route and www seems to either time out or takes forever to access.
Tried the different data centers no problem there, I guess they are having problem with their load balancing equipment.
