backwards links, same owner

does it matter who owns the site?

Hi, I live in a very small town where all my sites are related and link to each other. In some cases I have registered the domain name myself for my customers. Does google drop links if they are from sites by the same owner? I am about to register a new domain name and I wondered, should I register it under my name, or should I ask my customer to register it under his name? Does it make a difference? The Domain should always be in the customers or owners name. Any other practice is bad business.

As far as Google goes, it does not matter. You should however, use differant I.P. addresses.
