IP Woes

Three weeks before the last update (one before esmeralda- dominic i believe?) I changed the IPs on several of my most well-ranked websites.

Now, a week or so before Dominic all of my sites were removed from the Google index (I guess because the spider got a 404 or couldn't even connect) and given grey PR. Now, in Dominic I was nowhere, but I did still have inboudn links showing.

Now with Esmerelda I have same situation, I get links in but I'm absolutely nowhere in the SERPS. What are all of your takes on this situation? Any idea when I can start seeing my sites in the SERPS?

Have your sites gotten visited by googlebot yet at their new IPs?

That will likely be the first step.

It was normal for listings and the backlink search to be out of sync with Dominic, I'm interested that you find the same now.

I think you'll have to be patient; Google is quicker than it used to be, but DNS changes for search engines don't tend to be as quick as they are for browsers and ISP proxies. As marcs suggests, it would help if you could see whether Googlebot is hitting the logs on your new server.
