Could I have problems with Google if I change the DNS? The DNS will be pointing to the same server and IP.

Thanks.

Not sure what you're changing with the DNS, if not the Primary Name Server/Hostname and Secondary Name Server/Hostname...
Google has lately been finding DNS changes very quickly in my experience. I changed hosts last week and Google had the DNS change in about 12 hours.
It shouldn't be a problem.

you should be fine.
we have seen spiders (like Inktomi) that cache the IP for ages, even if the domain is closed. But as long as you are pointing to the same box, even that would not matter. Either G is looking for an DNS update and gets the same IP or it has cached the IP and the server still responds. So, you are safe ;-)

No Problem as long as the IP is the same because the BOT cache the IPs (not DNS). The problem arise only if you change your IPs but GoogleBot seems to be to lazy to fetch the new IP from the DNS server.

Don't Worry! Be Happy. :)
