Its about time to reinlist about half of my original clients that only opted for the six month program. I have the option of offering a discount if they reciprocate the links. I know that one way incoming links can be more valuable than reciprocated. What about having a significant number of outbound one way on topic links versus having them reciprocated. For some reason, I feel as though there is some value to the fact that it is unreciprocated. After all, it wouldn't make sense to reward someone for getting a one way link and penalize the one that gave it. OTOH, it would have to make sense if PR calculations were a zero sum game.
Plus, I don't want to give a discount.

I always remember Google once saying something upon the lines of "you help us and we will help you...."

If you link out and give them links to follow.... you may be helping them. :)

Hi MHes:)

We offer outbounds to anyone and everyone if we feel there sites is of value to our customers. Some sites link back some don't...we don't take any notice any more. Our belief is build a nice site and tell enough people, many link to us and ask for no links from us.
