Can't find any grounds for penization

Hi All,

Haven't been to WM in a while. Last time I was here all links were a no no.

Which makes my questions a bit more complicated... I have a simple message forum on a 4 year old site that suddenly has a Google PageRank of 0. This applies to most pages at the board and no other pages on the site.

I can't find any reason for the penalty and I was hoping some people could check to see what I'm missing.

Since I can't post the link, StickyMail me I suppose. Or post here and I will StickyMail you the link... although this kinda defeats the purpose of making answers available to everyone.

In any case, any help would be greatly appreciated,

Ian

Hello Ian
I wouldn't worry about too much at this time. There is a lot of it going around and is rumored to be temporary. Usually, it has been happening to links pages. Try a site search for missing links pages.

By the way, what is penization? i get emails offering something like that all the time.;)

I wouldn't be concerned about it, IanKelley.

Thanks GoogleGuy... I guess you would know.

Do I take your terse answer to mean that you know why it's happening and you know that it's temporary but you can't say why? :-)

Ian,

Try a search on this forum for Dominic.

That just sums it up beautifully!

(GoogleGuy) - you know why it's happening and you know that it's temporary but you can't say why?

I like how you think, IanKelley. :) I wouldn't worry about the toolbar indicator right now.
