I am new to the forum so please forgive me if I come across as being a little bit nervous. I have a bran new website in which links were picked up in April by google in which indexing was to occur in May. As everyone knows this never happened. My back links in April which tallied many pages has now been reduced to just four. Where did they all go? Will they eventually return to google and be indexed or are they lost?
For being new to this I must ask, for those of us who have businesses online, does google provide a stable enviroment for one to actually make an honest living? Please Advise. Thanks!

Unfortunately, no one really knows the answer to your questions. All you can do is read up on all the update Dominic discussions and then wait and see.

So let me ask, aren't those professionals who optimize websites worried at all about their livelyhood? I know I am driving my guy nuts with thousands of questions that he has no answers for!
This not only affects the online businesses but also those who promote these sites as well, right? Isn't anyone worried about this?

Hi JoeHouse, from what I can gather, people who worry the most are site owners. A few of my clients where affected. When I suggested them to use ad word as a temporarly mesure, most of them refused and decided to live with it.
