Why is FI (Datacenter 9) showing different results?

For the last 3 weeks I have been seeing a site that usually appears in the 1st page of results for our main keyword keep appearing then disappearing. When I checked all 9 datacenters I notice the results are sometimes different in FI datacenter 9. Why is this?

The backlinks are the same though.

Indeed, FI has consistently produced different results for quite a while.

It is worth noting that a different subset of sites seems to be missing on there - as though they found a way to include some of the original missing sites, but lost a stack of others in the process.

There has also been some ranking changes across all 9 recently, which hasn't actually helped (at least in the areas I monitor a few searches are notably worse).

I'm rather hoping the new activity though is a prelude to getting this whole thing sorted - missing sites, messing data, etal. Probably just an optimist.

I am seeing the same thing on -fi, consistently. I was #2 for a keyword for a long time, in this new index I was pushed down to #30 or so. However, I am #2 or #3 on fi and now and then a few other datacenters show the same thing. Constant flux.
