My site is pretty new and the front page has PR5, Very clean design, valid HTML, good link structure, small page size, aprox 300 words on that page.

Which Used to be #100-#300 in a VERY competitive keyword. All top 10 SERP from my competitor Has PR6-8. My sub page still ranked well like top 10 most of the time.
Thank god my sub page is where the main traffic comes from, (55k sub pages).

I tried by best with proper/legal SEO tricks.

Alright, a few days ago I was checking my SERP, whoops! I cannot find the front page in the result, I tired go though to #2k. No SERP at all, then I searched second keyword in from my front page which showed me something like #50.

Most likely I am just banned by google for that keyword ONLY.

I inspected my site, I found out some idea

1.There is some “hidden content” contains that “keyword”, which is not for “spamming” at all, but mouse over trick.
2.There is a sentence in the news contains repeated “keyword”, it is something like a slogan, nothing to do with spamming, “keyword”, “keyword”, “keyword” bla bla bla …….
3.The page is “proper” optimized here is how I put those “keyword”, <h1><h2><h3> with title attribute w “kw”, I keep them in prefect structure
-----------------------
<h1 title=”kw”>
<p>
<h2 title=”kw”>
<p>
<h2 title=”kw”>
<p>
<h3 title=”kw”>
-----------------------

anchor with title attribute w “kw”,
-----------------------
<a href=”http://eat-my-crap-and-die.com” title=”kw”>
----------------------

alt attribute in images w “kw”
---------------------
<img src=”http://pic-of-my-crap.com/this-is-my-crap.jpg” alt=”kw”>
--------------------

, keyword in <stronge>, <em>.
4.Keyword density for that “keyword” is a bit high, but it is still fair used, like 20%+. I will give you that.

GoogleGuy/ or anyone please tell me which of above will most likely drag down my SERP?
Over optimized?
High keyword density?
Repeated keyword?

I reckon Google is a bit over sensitive about the spamming crap, some site like mine completely innocent, although there is hidden content, I use that for users, I don’t believe google banned me just because there is repeated keyword.

now, i recode that page,
no hidden/ kw density 15% / no repeated kw

and i added $hit load of HIGH PR inbound link(PR5 +), i am sitting tight and waiting for the next dance.. however, this front page PR5-No-SERP issue still bugging me. Damn!

SpeedMax,

I highly doubt that Google has banned you site for one keyword. I fact I don't think they can do that. As for "over-sensitive" I would disagree. I think it's just part of the flux.
