Site not listed in Google.

Hello,
I submitted two sites to google some days back and google is showing good result for one site but the second site does not appear on google listing.
For the second site when I typed the full URL in the google search box, then it used to give one listing found. But now the full URL also doesn't show any result.
What may be the problem? Has google changed any stratergy? Can anybody guide? Any help is appreciated.

hi rahash, welcome to WebmasterWorld.

When you submit a URL to Google, they do say that they do not include everything submitted. My guess is that your site WILL be included though. You will probably have to wait for another full crawling and update cycle. Just give it some time and look for googlebot in your logs.

Quick Question on same topic... I submitted a site, got spidered by googlebot once, and showed up when searching for my exact url (No linking as of yet or really any chance of showing up in a true search, brand new site -- but it does have real content and all). Went on 10 day vacation, and when I got back it had dissapeared completely from google. Waited 3 more weeks, resubmitted, and now two weeks latter, still nothing. More content added, although only 2 or 3 links in. Also, not in DMOZ just yet... Very strange, I thought.

i kinda have the same problem, however dsmmg, i think, just as travoli suggested...you would have to wait for a full crawl, when found by fresh bot your site is usually displayed briefly for a couple of days before disappearing then coming back once a full re index is done. Whcih leads to my problem, i hope i can get some advice on...i launched two new sites in late april/early may...check my logs every day, saw freshbot come by on numerous occasions, but never saw either site appear in the listing..even temporarily...have a competitior who launched approx the same time and his site is still showing up...even if i searh for the URL nothing is there...

advice?
