Google Directory?

In the wrong order for weeks now!

Has anyone had issues recently with the Google directory being way out of order? It seems that the page's PR does not match the directories PR anymore. (regarding the order of sites by PR)

Ex: The site at the top of this specific directory shows a 6/10 PR on the left when all the sites are listed in order of PR. But, when you go and visit the #1 site, it has a PR of 2/10. That does not make sense. There are many pages below the #1 position that show a low PR or even a zero that, when you visit the site, have an elevated PR. This has been going on for weeks now. Any answers or suggestions?

Just did a check for the green bar of 1 site in different Google Directories;

short bar: ex, ab, in
long bar: sj, va, dc,
no directory: fi, zu, cw

Another mystery?

Surf to the directory listings you want to check, then add an "-ex" in the address bar & go.

I just did a search in the data centers and all are the same for this directory. The site at top shows a 6/10 PR but when you visit the site, it has only a 2/10 PR. All the sites below this site have a higher PR but are listed below this "renegade" site.

It is odd, I thought it would clear up after a while. Ha, renegades.....

I've been noticing problems with the page rank order in the Google Directory Listings as well. Wonder if Googleguy may be able to shed some light on this issue and let us know when it may be fixed?
