It didn't say that there would be answers at the end of the week.
You're expecting something that wasn't said.
It will probably take a day or two for Brett, and whoever else decides, to pick out the 10 questions then carefully choose the wording and then submit them.
GoogleGuy will probably need a few days to find answers, talk with colleagues about what can be answered, and so on, as well.
I'm checking back next weekend to see if anything has come back in the mail. Any sooner is probably asking far too much.

:) a couple of days, UNDERstatement of the year.
90% of the questions have answers right here at Webmasterworld.
5% of the questions HE can NOT give answers to (if he does he might aswell give us the key to googleplex)
that leaves 5%...
and I am looking forward to those.

Let this whole process take its time - you all read what was posted, and if you didn't choose to let it seep in, that's not GoogleGuy's fault.
We all have a 40-year working career, but some people who post here seem to think that one week is the end of their working life!
Me? It's the weekend. Time to enjoy other things....

Yes I do like it. Very much.
But...
Point is, people seem to think that playing e-chess with GoogleGuy (nice chap - he's got an English sense of humour - I approve!) is what being a good Webmaster is all about.
I go with the guys who say that Joe Public is what matters. Tonight I visited 3 web-sites to book a summer holiday cottage. I used google to pick them. Two were brilliant - type in the area, type in the dates, see what's free. One was NOT... type in the area, see 92 places to stay. For each, see if it was free on my week : if not, backtrack, pick another....
I got bored after three...
Google is a magical focus, but it's NOT the answer. I'm happy to surf several sites to find a holiday, but the sites that I'm now focussed on are those that are easy to use, not those that match keywords...
Then again, us Brits are renowned for being awkward...

Sorry? No need! No apologies needed - my best friend is quitting smoking too and I know how things suddenly seem to take a new perspective!
I take your point about other search engines, yet deep down I have this nagging feeling. You see, my website - raising money for local charities - isn't anything to do with google, or being clever with keywords, or neat optimisations, it's to do with people dying too soon and the families they leave behind.
In that respect, GoogleGuy's comments - about good content - rank way above tricks that are, in terms of getting one's 15 minutes of fame, little more than magic tricks...
For everyone who climbs up google's ladder by on, another gets pushed down...
Darn - I let my emotion out of the bag!

All answered questions will have already been covered, but buy using different words; so as to avoid duplicate content penalties ;-
