I have just noticed one of my sites position.
For all the keyords it used to be on #1 ,#2, #3 or #4 position, now with 29th May fresh bot crawled page, it moved to #74 or worst positions. The Last-Modified headers show 20th May 2003 in all my pages.
Has anything change in fresh bot?
Does anyone has any idea of what happened?
I will preciate any help or ideas...!

Thank you

Same here. Freshbot has placed zero content spam pages ahead of mine and pushed me off the first page. I call it Spambot.

>>Freshbot has placed zero content spam pages ahead of mine and pushed me of...

last week I reported to Google the same things, though I went from 2nd-3rd page only to 6-7th.
Now I'm on page 8, and at times the site disappears...but more spam goes ahead :(

I'd better shut up, they know how to help spammers without me.
The worst thing is that google results have influenced other SE results badly too.
And i am still waiting to see the big improvements.

So....G has just started like spam pages?
It doesn't care about content any more?
>10,000 servers work for "keyword,keyword,keyword"?

My new site titles are gonna be...
Keyword keyword keyword keyword keyword

I am wondering if G started like META keywords too?:P

Maybe felt jealous on Meta Crawler:)))
Oh, my God......!

Any ideas of what happening with freshbot results?
Does these results have to do with the really G update positions?

Nobody has any idea at the moment, all of this is new Google stuff. I've noticed the same thing too every time the fresh results pop up on the main index - my sites either disappear or drop like a dead duck.

Such is life...wait it out a few weeks and things should be sorted for everyone....

thanx pal... i see.....
I think we should have a look to:
1.if fresh-bot results also counts backlinks....maybe it's a new piece of code in fresh-bot algo...

2.if fresh-bot also has a look to "Last-modified" date in every page, and the results in main page are sorted within that date+keywords and the rest of the stuff...

oooyyyffff!
I got really tired..!:(

freshbot is completely ignoring my site. I've made lots of relevant changes, but freshie doesn't seem to notice.

Freshbot has indeed been acting weird lately, but it's been picking up my site regularly.

If I even add or remove a single link freshbot is on my site like white on rice.

Has your site ever been frequented regularly by freshbot? Is your site in Dmoz?

Hi, I'm new here; this is actually my first post. I've also noticed that the freshbot has visited my site quite regularly, almost everyday. However, the new pages I've been constantly adding are not showing up on Google. Do I have to wait for the next visit by the deepbot, or is this just the result of the current flux going on at Google?

I am not seeing any spam and pretty much happy with my positions. Just my opinion though.

Yes, it's in DMOZ. I don't have access to my server logs, so I don't know if freshbot has come by or not. My site is one of those newly indexed sites that winded up as collateral damage after Dominic.

I don't have access to server logs on some sites, so I used a free external counter from NedStat. That gives loads of site stats including visitor's ISP domains, and referrers. I see the Google IP appear in the list from time to time. Might be worth trying them (or one of the hundreds of others offering a similar service).

i hate this "fresh bot". i made around 10 new pages 3 weeks or more ago and i dont see my pages in index. however i made new page 3 days ago and it is in the index. WHY doesnt the fresh bot crawl other pages too - they are linked from index!

I think freshbot has changed its name to :
fresh+deep-BOT!
I watching yesterday the fresh results coming up, and today i notice that these fresh results has stayed up for more than 1-2 days(in the past fresh results were coming up for some hours until 1-2 days).

Things have changed!
