Has anyone else noticed the large amount of pages in dmoz are not currently cached? Is this normal or due to the current Google changes?
The pages that are cached seem random to me. Some are old in terms of updates some are new. It doesn't seem to matter.
This seems to affect a large number of backlinks to me.

Well, a "large amount" of new dmoz pages are created every day, new categories, named and moved categories. But aside from that Google missed a huge amount of pages in dmoz, and also the Google directory, during the last deep crawl. Since they are just freshcrawling now, missing a lot of pages shouldn't be a surprise.

On the other hand, cache doesn't mean much of anything. Search for a long string of words on a page and see what you find.
