Updates from Dmoz to Google Directory

I see Dmoz sometimes do not updates its data for 1-2 months. For example today it is still using 25 April data.

After Dmoz updates Google Directory its inmediatly updated?
Or Google Directory is only updated 5-6 times at year?

What I´m thinking is that if Dmoz updates for Example in 2 Months, and Google refresh this update in 1-2 Months more... a new site listed in Dmoz may have to wait up to 3-4 months to get listed in Google Directory. It´s that correct?

dmoz produces an RDF file from time to time (usually weekly but maybe currently affected by the hardware upgrades going on there). Whenever Google decides to pick up the new RDF and incorporate it into an update then the Google Directory updates. However, the current Google update schedule is impossible to interpret, so you just have to wait and see. If you're in dmoz then you'll eventually make it to Google. :)

Just to clarify, dmoz/ODP is completely independent of Google and has no influence on when, how or if Google decides to update its directory.

dmoz rdf dumps are usually updated every 1-2 weeks. At the moment the system is being upgraded and may be a little behind schedule.

Google just grabs the rdf data as and when it feels like it.

So it's an unknown length of time before a newly listed site in dmoz will show up in google directory.

With whats going on with Dominic, you can bet your bottom dollar that google will be grabbing a new rdf dump very soon.

DMOZ updates are an indeterminate length apart. DMOZ would be happy to admit that they can be a month apart, but in practice they tend to be further part than that at the moment

I was very surprised, because I have listed 5 new sites in ODP under World/Español/ and the sites does not apear in the search, only in the directory.

I guess this is because the update. Right?

Also I see in Google´s Directory the sites are not there neither. I supposed it only need time.

That's right. Once you are accepted for a DMOZ listing the other two things required ...

1. Appearing in DMOZ search

2. Appearing in Google

... happen in the fullness of time. Nothing you, I or anyone else can do except wait (and wait and wait and...). But it will eventuall happen ;)
