Google using February Database?

Checked my feb notes

We got "wacked" yesterday due to this update mess... we went from #3 to somewhere 6 pages down.. We have been tracking our top 5 keywords month to month noting position and changes we have implemented to improve (hopefully) things. For our top 5 keywords we are almost in the exact
same postion we were in the Feb database. Top key word phrase is in the exact same position on page 6, key word (phrases) 2-5 are almost in the exact same position give or take 1 or 2 positions. Maybe this is just a coincidence
but thought it might be of interest...

Thanks AW, so what I am seeing is consistant with what some other have seen.... this makes me feel somewhat more comfortable with this situation... Adwords for now..

I'm glad I read your thread. About two months ago I decided to make our website modular in that all topic groups would be delegated their own folder. This cleared up a lot of clutter and makes it easier to modify. Most of all I wanted to give the bots groups of similar info to catalogue and my hope was to improve my ranking. Since then I have been watching and all pages below my index are downgraded to 1, yet my index stayed at 4. As I have backchecked via HitBox I notice that Google and other Bots are still referring searchers to the old page locations! Seems that the bots have not updated their info structure for quite some time ...Feb fits with the timeline.

The link count on several different domains that I work with is exactly that of February.

All we can do is hope that soon we will see a TRULY NEW index.
