Google deep crawled our web site starting April 15 for several days. We watched as Google deep crawled 30,000 pages. We were expecting to be include in this last update but have seen nothing. Now we are being deep crawled again the last few days.

Our google tool bar says this site is Not Yet Ranked by Google. So I don't think we have been penalized.

Can idea body enlighten my as to what possible reasons we were not included in this last but strange update?

Welcome to WebmasterWorld eesnard! This month was strange, you might want to use the site search for "update Dominic". There are a lot of posts and many more speculations, but you should get a feel for what is going on this month and why you aren't in the index yet.

Has anyone else seen the deepbot on their site?

I have only seen freshbot coming around and flirting. :)

The deepcrawl hasn't started yet. What's the IP address your geting?

freshBot: 64.68.82.* bah, listed for only a few days, short dinner date then it dumps you.
deepcrawler: 216.239.46.* Good bot, it likes you, listed until death do you depart. So don't make him mad or it will divorce your site. You can divorce the Googlebot by using your robot.txt file. It's much cheaper and faster than going to the courts.
