Domain removal question

A while ago I got a new domain name for my site. The old one was on EasySpace so I had to use their feature to set it to redirect to the new domain (it uses a 301 header).

But now the old domain is appearing in google with the same title and description etc.

I don't want to be banned for multiple domains. How do I remove the old domain from google without also removing the new one?

If I set a meta tag on the index page of the site, then remove the old domain instantly from google, will it also remove the new one?

leave the old domain in google just put a holding page on it telling your user that the new site is abc.com
