Fresh Crawl - Mulitple times in a month

Is this strange?

The home page of one of my sites was fresh crawled 4 times last month. Is this weird? I have never experienced it before. Another strange thing is that without fail, out of 15 sites, over the last year this site gets hit first by the deep crawl.

I did some searches for fresh crawl and only saw one mention of pages being fresh crawled more than once in a month, but it was very brief like four or five words.

No, this is starting to be great.
The more important your site and IMO, the more recent external inbound links from important sites, the more frequent the fresh crawling will be (even daily).

I think that consensus here is that the higher the Pagerank the earlier the deep crawl.

Uhhhh, that's strange. It is only a PR5. I have another site that is a 5 too, but it does not get hit nearly soon. huuu, thanks, now I know.

Fresh not only to do with Pagerank, but with content change and new links towards it.
