I just done a search for my main keyword <snip> and the date 25th May resides next to some of the urls. I didn't notice this yesterday nor for a long time (with good reason of course).
Can somebody tell me if this is of any significance? Sorry if this has already been mentioned, but I couldn't see any posts about it.

What I searched for was "google date in search results" which was shortened to that.
The 1st link is the 'google update faq' which is great reading - if you haven't read it, I can't recommend it enough.
Covers perhaps 99% of the questions that we (collectively) answer on a daily basis.
