Hate to say it but for me the changes are not for the better, I have seem a 50% drop happeneing gradualy since the 16th of this month.
Anyone else seeing a similar pattern or, better still, going in the opposite direction.
Mack.
The consequence is something like a 40 % drop on the number of daily visits. Nothing terrible, since my site is a hobby and I don't sell anything there, but I suppose this might be very unpleasant if I did my living over it.
Let's hope the lost pages will come back soon ("matter of weeks, not months" wrote GoogleGuy somewhere).
Same position for me. I remember Googleguy saying backlinks would be filtered back in. I don't supose there is any way we can know but do you suspect this is part of the process.
When i do a search for site title I get a lot less results that I am used to. Page rank has remained the same. It just seams to matter where it really counts. Referals.
Mack.
It's a really big Googleplexperiment for sure, with some big waves, wonder where we'll all wash up?
Looks like a few webmasters will be heading to the store for motion sickness pills this month!
That toast wasn't a good idea this morning 8O{}
Let's rename the last/current update Public Beta Wavemaker then shall we? ;O)
My top pages remain the same (they all have just a bit less traffic), and my Google/Yahoo/MSN referral percentages don't seem to have changed, so I don't think the slowdown is related to the latest Google update. (Spot checks of my leading Google keywords and keyphrases show hardly any changes in rankings; in the few cases where I do see differences, the changes in ranking are slight and cancel each other out.)
